Cranial Osteopathy
Problems that we suffer as adults often have their beginnings in our childhood. Birth is one of the most stressful events in our lives. Some babies cope well and are content and happy. For others it’s a different story. If labour is interrupted or intervention such as forceps or suction is needed, the baby may be left with strains though its body or head.
Cranial osteopathy is essentially gentle manipulation of the skull to relieve stresses experienced by babies during child birth. It can help with lots of problems such as asthma, colic, recurring infections, sleeping and behavioural problems.
