Coping With Stress

Brian Howard, Chief Executive of Mental Health Ireland, describes how we can decrease and tackle our stress levels, while consultant dietitian Sarah Keogh recommends some good food habits to get into to help keep stress at bay
Stress is a part of modern-day life and occurs in all areas of our lives; at home, at work and socially. It can have a major effect on ability, performance, confidence, energy levels and quality of life. Although we cannot eliminate stress, we can learn how to recognise and cope with it more effectively. Stress cannot be avoided, but it can be managed.
